Welcome to GloryCoon's web site !

We are brothers, Eyal and Eran Zohar. In 2004 we established "GloryCoon", a small cattery of the gorgeous Maine Coon breed. GloryCoon is a registered cattery name, both in CFA and TICA.

We are located in Netanya, a city in Israel that lies on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, not far from Tel-Aviv.

Our goals are to breed healthy and well socialized Maine Coons, and to strictly adhere to the breed's standard. Our cats are tested for FIV, FELV, HD, PL, HCM and PKD, and raised only indoors and in our fenced run. They can go in and out of the run as they please, since it is connected to our home window and is installed only for their safety when they lay in the sun and bird watch.

We acquired our first pair of Maine Coons from the "Coolcoons" cattery in Australia, in July 2004. Thank you Fiona Cooper-Stephens, for letting us have those two charming kittens - Georgie and Isabelle!
